Need an Answer to a Vexing Question?

Many leading online portals have an Answers section where users can get as well as provide answers to seemingly complex procedural questions. Apparently insurmountably problems such as filing of income tax returns, getting a passport, applying for a visa, etc., are simpler when a person who has gone through the routine is willing to help.

Following are some of the websites that provide answers to difficult questions that users may have:

Answers.com

Answers.com is a free answers web portal offering instant information on over 4 million topics. Though users can’t ask questions on this site, it delivers useful answers in within seconds. Users can look up any word or phrase for the best definition or explanation on the Web. It gives complete information that a user is looking for. Answers.com also has an in-house editorial team, and collaborates with community-contributed articles from Wikipedia to provide answers to user-generated questions. Because it compiles and unifies multiple sources for each topic on to a single page, users save time and get the information they need quickly.

answers.google.com

The Answers interface of Google is no longer active. However, it still maintains the answers it has already uploaded. Google Answers has a panel of experts who answer questions put by users. However, users can no longer ask questions as this functionality has been discontinued.

answers.yahoo.com

Yahoo answers have the policy of ask, answer and discover. Users can ask questions and anyone can answer. Questions run a wide gamut such as, “I have forgotten my password on this Compaq Desktop PC and I cannot do a thing!” to “How does astrology (horoscope) work?” Points are awarded to each answer and if the answer is judged as the best answer, the percentage of such answers is recorded on the member’s profile page.

linkedin.com/answers

LinkedIn is a network of more than 12 million experienced professionals from around the world, representing 150 industries. It also has an answers section where a user can ask questions and receive answers. Since LinkedIn consists mostly of professionals one can expect the quality of answers also to be of a certain level of professionalism. Also users can meet old colleagues and pick up new contacts and potential clients on linkedin.com.

G2bux.com/answers

G2bux.com’s answers module is different from many of the above mentioned answer websites. On G2bux, users will find motivated people who can offer accurate answers. Besides G2bux answers earn points that can be converted into cash. Also if it is a difficult or a question that needs some research, the asker can put a value on the answer and reward the answer he/she likes. User can choose the best answer depending on his/her own parameters. If none of the answers are satisfactory, a full refund can be requested from g2bux.com.

All these sites offer answers to some of the most difficult question users may have. Therefore if one site is not able to give an answer, try another one.

Like I have said here before, G2Bux Answers is one of my better-liked modules on G2Bux.

Now that Google Answers has stopped accepting questions, G2Bux seems to be the best option for users wanting to ask questions, answers to which they are ready to pay for.

The beauty of G2Bux Answers is that, unlike Google Answers, the questions are not closed to a specific answerer but is open to all who would like to answer. This ensures that the asker receives more and better answers to choose from and thus get the best value for his money.
